Steinhoff Group sells its European upholstery business unit, operating under the name Steinpol, to the Liechtenstein based upholstery manufacturer Cotta Group.
With more than 3,800 employees working in eight production sites in Poland, one production site in Hungary and in a sales and development office in Germany, Steinpol is one of the leading upholstered furniture manufacturers in Europe. Steinpol supplies high quality mid-market private label products to a broad range of professional retail customers in Western and Central Europe.
EY advised Steinhoff Group in this cross-border transaction with a joint M&A Lead Advisory team of colleagues from Switzerland and Poland.
